Privacy policy.

Last updated: May 10, 2026

The short version

We collect what we need to answer your inquiries, run your fulfillment, and stay compliant with the law. We use it to deliver service, invoice you, and reply when you call. We share it with the subprocessors that help us run the business (think hosting, email, payments). We do not sell your data. You can ask us what we have on file, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@vertexlogicalsolutions.com or call 604.940.8004.

1. What we collect.

Information you give us

When you contact us through the website form, request a quote, or book a sales call, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, the country you ship from and to, your monthly order volume, your sales channels, and anything else you decide to type into the message field. If you become a customer, we also collect billing details, signed service agreements, and the SKU and order data we need to operate your account.

Information we collect automatically

When you visit vertexlogicalsolutions.com, we automatically log your IP address, browser and device type, referring URL, the pages you view, and the approximate timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies for the same purpose. None of this is tied to your name unless you have already given us your name through the contact form.

Information from third parties

If you become a customer, we receive order, shipment, and inventory data from the platforms you connect to our WMS (Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, NetSuite, ShipStation, and similar). We receive payment confirmations from our processor when you pay an invoice. We receive carrier tracking events from UPS, FedEx, USPS, Purolator, Canada Post, and DHL for the shipments we tender on your behalf. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not enrich your data with brokered third-party profiles.

2. How we use it.

Three reasons, in plain English.

  • To respond to inquiries. If you fill in the contact form, we use your contact details to reply, schedule a call, and send the quote you asked for. If you do not become a customer, we keep the inquiry on file for 24 months and then delete it.
  • To deliver the service. If you sign a service agreement, we use your data to receive, store, pick, pack, and ship your orders. We use connected platform data to keep inventory in sync, to invoice you correctly on the 1st of every month, and to send the monthly performance report.
  • To comply with the law. We keep records that tax authorities, customs authorities, and carriers require us to keep. We respond to lawful requests from law enforcement when we are legally required to do so.

We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not run behavioral advertising. We do not retarget you across the web.

3. Who we share it with.

We share the minimum amount of data we need to with the subprocessors that help us run the business. Each one is contractually required to handle your data with the same standards we do.

Subprocessor What they do
Vercel Hosts the marketing website and serves the contact form
Resend Sends transactional and inquiry-response emails
Stripe Processes invoice payments and stores card-on-file details
Shopify, Amazon, BigCommerce, NetSuite, ShipStation Send order and inventory data we operate against
UPS, FedEx, USPS, Purolator, Canada Post, DHL Carry the parcels we tender on your behalf
Datex Footprint + TechDynamics Our warehouse management system
Google Analytics Aggregate website traffic measurement (IP anonymized)

We do not sell your data.

Not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not to anyone. We do not run a data resale business and we do not intend to start one. The only exception to the list above is if we are legally compelled (a subpoena, a court order) or if Vertex Logical Solutions is acquired, in which case we would notify customers 30 days in advance.

4. Your rights.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to do these four things. We will respond within 30 days.

  • Access. Tell us who you are and we will send you a copy of what we have on file.
  • Correction. If something is wrong, we will fix it.
  • Deletion. We will delete what we can. Some records (tax, customs, contracts) we are legally required to keep, and we will explain which ones and for how long.
  • Opt-out. If you no longer want our emails, click the unsubscribe link or email us. If you want analytics off, see the cookies section below.

If you are in California, these are your CCPA rights. If you are in the EU or UK, these are your GDPR rights. If you are in Canada, these are your PIPEDA rights. The mechanism is the same: email privacy@vertexlogicalsolutions.com. We will not charge you for exercising any of these rights, and we will not treat you differently if you do.

5. Cookies and analytics.

We use two categories of cookies on this website.

  • Strictly necessary. These keep the website functional (form submissions, session continuity). You cannot turn these off and still use the site.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization to count page views, see where visitors come from, and understand which pages are useful. We do not run any advertising cookies.

To opt out of analytics, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or enable your browser's Do Not Track signal. We honor it.

6. How long we keep things.

Different data has different retention periods, depending on what the law requires and what makes operational sense.

Data How long we keep it
Website inquiries that do not convert 24 months from last contact
Customer order and shipment data 7 years (Canadian and US tax requirement)
Signed service agreements and invoices 7 years after termination
Customs and cross-border records 6 years (CBSA and CBP requirement)
Website server logs 90 days
Analytics data 26 months

7. Children's privacy.

Vertex Logical Solutions sells fulfillment services to businesses. Our website and services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you are a parent and you believe your child has given us information, email privacy@vertexlogicalsolutions.com and we will sort it out.

8. International data transfers.

We are headquartered in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Our subprocessors run servers in Canada, the United States, and the European Union. When we transfer your data across a border, we rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and the safeguards required under Canadian and US law.

9. How we secure your data.

We encrypt data in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher. Customer data inside our WMS is encrypted at rest. Access to customer accounts is role-scoped and audited. We run quarterly access reviews and we revoke access within 24 hours when a team member leaves. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers, ever. Stripe handles cards.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever have a breach that affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant regulators within 72 hours, in line with GDPR and PIPEDA timelines.

10. Changes to this policy.

When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and email customers 30 days before the change takes effect. Minor edits (typos, link fixes, clarifying language that does not change what we collect or how we use it) we make without notice.

11. How to reach us.

Privacy questions, rights requests, or just a heads-up that something on this page is unclear: we are easy to reach.
